Work sucked today. Why did it suck? Well you could say that I accidently charged $39.90 and accidently completely smashed one of the glass shelves. Yeah, thats about right.

So then I was very unhappy, so I decided to pop in to Tim Hortons to buy a hot chocolate. But they didn't have any left, so I had to get a coffee instead. Consequently, I have a headache now because coffee tends to do that to me.

And then I went home, in the rain, because I stupidly didn't bring an umbrella. And I go upstairs to kill time on the internets, but the mouse has no battery power left! So, now I'm on katies computer, and watching old school trek.

Which brings me to my next complaint. The point of watching old school trek is to laugh at the bad graphics/acting/plots. But it seems they have re-vamped the trek we know and love. Yes, the colour is intensified, the stars in the background actually move, and the ship seems to be animated now. Yes no more little plastic models on string flying around the screen. I don't like it one bit. But thats just me. Well... it does make Spock look one hundred times more feminine. lol.

And on top of that I'm cold.

I'm not sure if you all are aware but for the past two days or so, it's been snowing in Vancouver! Just to tell you how amazing that is, we usually don't get snow until late december, sometimes not til January. So to celebrate this, Nira and I decided to build a snowan! (or bon homme de neige en francais)

Just when I was contemplating going out somewhere it starts to rain. Typical. Now I have zero motivation to do anything.

hey peeps!

1) just finished carving my pumpkin of uber geekdom. It's a star trek pumpkin. It didn't come out so well. OK, so it came out horribly, but who's going to see it anyway? Maybe I'll post a picture later, but then again, why would it matter? I have no LJ friends! : (

2) Interesting factoid: Last weekend my sister and I saw "flags of our fathers" and today I confirmed that one of the main characters, Ira Hayes, was indeed played by the same guy ( Adam Beach ) who also played Private Ben Yahzee in the similarly themed WWII film, "windtalkers". Interesting. But thats not todays interesting factoid. What's interesting is that he's Canadian! From Manitoba! Yay! I love it when Canadians play American hereos. Hardcore.

3) mmm big macs. Curse this stupid vegetarian lifestyle!!

4) Wikipedia has a whole section devoted to Andy Coopers sexual orientation. umm, why do we need to know this??
